DESIGN GUIDE & MARKINGS

Magma

Alleles:

Rarity: Uncommon

Magma creates a series of uneven patches across the Kalacros.

Rules

  • As a minimum requirement, there should be at least a few solid patches on a Kalacros.
  • Magma can have some holes, but cannot display separate, small spots outside of the main marking.
  • The body patch on the non-dominant example is the largest that patches should be.
  • It may be a solid-colored patch, or layer up to three colors.
  • When using layered patches;
    • The bottom layer must be darker than the base coat
    • The middle layer must be darker than the bottom, and the topmost should be lighter than the middle.
    • These should all be of a fairly similar hue range. For example, layered Magma could use orange and yellow, but not orange and blue.

Dominant

  • In it's dominant form, layered Magma can draw from the Prisma range for its' upper layers, and solid patches may display up to three different colors.
  • Solid Magma may also layer and overlap itself.
