DESIGN GUIDE & MARKINGS
Hoarfrost
Alleles:Rarity: Common
Hoarfrost creates a marking that spreads out gently from the "core" of the kalacros.
Rules
- Hoarfrost must sit on top of all other markings!
Non-Dominant
- At minimum, Hoarfrost must appear somewhere around the chest/ribs of the kalacros. At maximum, it may affect a good majority of the body, spreading out from the chest, but must leave the face untouched. Its edge must stay blended.
- Hoarfrost can have small, soft/blended-edged holes erased out of the main marking. These holes should not be any bigger than the eye, and should never be hard-edged. They may be as small as you wish.
Dominant
- The edges of Hoarfrost may be soft instead of blurred.
- Hoarfrost may originate from a different area of the body instead of just the chest. (i.e., the legs, wings, etc.)
- The holes may be bigger and may take on shapes, such as stars, petals, or something more abstract. Shapes must remain PG-13. The holes must stay soft-edged, however.
Interaction with Snowcap
- If Snowcap is present on a geno alongside Hoarfrost, it may create hard-edged holes in the Hoarfrost or soft-edged holes in the Snowcap. The size of the holes can be that of Snowcap.
