DESIGN GUIDE & MARKINGS

Leopard

Alleles:

Rarity: Uncommon

Leopard creates stylized spots, known as rosettes, across the body.

Rules

  • As a minimum requirement, a few rosettes should be visible on the Kalacros.
  • The rosettes may fade gently around the edges of the coverage, which should be applied uniformly to both the inner and outer layers of the spots.
  • Additional small spots may accompany the main rosettes, provided they are close enough to maintain the distinct 'Leopard' identity and not resemble 'Bubble' markings.
  • Both filled and empty Leopard spots are permissible, and they can vary significantly in shape and size.
  • The non-dominant Leopard may also display larger rosette variations, similar to those seen in the dominant example.
  • The inner area of the rosettes may feature a soft gradient, which should be noticeably lighter than the outer edges.

Dominant

  • In this form, it can also exhibit patterns that are characteristic of King Cheetah spots. These patterns should align with the body's natural lines and be distinguishable from 'Tabby' markings.
